At one point in the eighties my wife and I spent a lot of time in Chicago,
and I took a lot of photos — including one of the famous Watertower.
It made for a nice exercise in watercolor tonalities …

This watertower is a wonderful example where architecture triumphs over functionality. In the painting the details and light are captured beautifully. Thanks for sharing.
