Still Life of Fruit and Cheese

Not only do I like to paint portraits of beautiful women,

but I have long admired the realistic still lifes of

of the Spanish and Dutch schools of the

sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

And that art has long served me

as inspiration for my own

efforts in the genre.

  1. Don Baldwin says:

It must be very satisfying to create such realism with paint and brush. The black background really brings things to the fore.Harry and David would be proud of the pear!!

  2. I like the pear especially!
